Our first training of the new season started on September 6th, 2011 after a six week summer break. This was so unusual, we always had to travel for the first snow to the Colorado Mountain Resorts - and this time we could start so early with gate and pole training.

October 8th, 2011 - SPYDER INDOOR CUP -  Jever Skihalle Neuss - 2 runs of kombi race

First race of the season and our first ski race in Germany. We had two runs of giant slalom in kombination with a part of slalom.
I was so pumped up and after the first run I ranked on fourth place, but I could top it during the second run and placed third as the younger one in my age group 15/16. Best of all I placed third within the regional championship - Youth 16/18, too.




November 20th, 2011 - DSV Points Race -  Bottrop Alpine Center - 2 runs of slalom

This was my first race for points. I had to start almost at last, and the course became more and more icy with every racer. But I placed 17th with the first run and so I had a much better position for the second run. Overall I placed 13th and within the Youth 15/16 5th. Click here for results.

5th of February 2012 - 2 runs of Giant Slalom in Hesselbach.
Finally the snow is here and we can travel to the ski races. I participated in the Open Rothaar Cup at the Hesselbach Mountain. It was steep, but a lot of fun and I finished both runs in First Place.

February 11th, 2012 - Open Rothaar Cup 3 in Hesselbach again.
 Two uns of Giant Slalom, added together. I became first again with the fastest time of the day. I'm sooo happy!


                  


                                                                                                                

February 12th,2012 , the very next day - two races of the Open Rothaar Cup in Olpe/Fahlenscheid.
I messed up the first one, but placed third with a very close time.





25th and 26th of February- Todtnauberg
 It was so warm and the mountain was melting away. We had one run of Giant Slalom and two runs of Slalom. Out of 50 starters I finished 19th in Slalom
(9th of the age group J15/16) and this brought my points down to 126,70.
